Las Vegas, Nevada - Secure Payment Systems ("SPS") has announced the acquisition of Tampa based Partner Payments, a wholly owned subsidiary of Partner Management Group LLC. Under the terms of the agreement which were not disclosed, SPS will acquire all assets of Partner Payments which includes a credit card processing merchant portfolio and numerous business agreements. Partner Payments will be a wholly owned subsidiary of SPS and be group responsible for acquiring merchant processing relationships on behalf of SPS.
Partner Payments has built a significant merchant card processing portfolio and partnered with several premier acquiring processors in the U.S. These relationships provide alignment with superior POS and on-line capabilities as well as integrations into a host of payment processing gateways.
Under the agreement, SPS will now be able to provide a turnkey payment service offering by extending credit card processing options on top of traditional SPS payment processing alternatives to SPS merchants. SPS Founder and Chairman Linden (Lin) Fellerman commented, "Besides purchasing an established portfolio we're very excited about acquiring two experienced senior level executives who are risk takers with drive and motivation to expand our acquiring strategy to the next level with the full support of SPS".
